This project is an expansion and a partial reconstruction after fire damage to a waste management facilitie for organic and commercial waste. All heat-stressed buildings and buildingparts , i.e. composting plants, biological waste treatment plants, mechanical waste treatment plants, substitute fuel plants, various other heat-stressed sedimentation basins, as well as the heavily used floor slabs, storages, etc. had to be planned.

Particularities:
Due to the high thermal, chemical and mechanical stress on the materials, the highest demands are placed on crack resistance and concrete technology of the reinforced concrete structures. A temperature measurement series initiated and coordinated with the operator was the basis of our 3-D FEM building simulation for a realistically consideration of the actual stresses due to temperature. The obtained results flow into a large number of complex, heat-stressed waste treatment plants nationally and internationally.
