run&roll-day on the city highway in Bielefeld - Grotemeier Engineers participates with a strong team

Like last year, the team of Grotemeier Engineers took part in the run&roll-day on the city highway of Bielefeld on September 10, 2017. Gerd Grotemeier and 7 employees ran the 5 kilometers with about 1000 further runners from other local firms, clubs and institutions across the region. Again the spotlight was on fun team-building.

Construction of the Children's hospital Bethel, Bielefeld

Grotemeier Engineers receive the order for the new construction of the children's hospital Bethel in Bielefeld and undertakes the structural engineering for the EUR 60 million project. The design was created from the prestigious berlin Architect office HASCHER JEHLE. The planned gross floor area is about 22,000 m² plus an underground parking garage. The new paediatric medicine department and paediatric surgery department will be with its 146 beds one of the most modern children's hospitals in Germany. In summer 2022 the hospital will open.

Construction works started for the sewage treatment plant in Gadenstedt, Germany

The total investment of the new sewage treatment plant including a pumping statiion is about EUR 7.5 million. Grotemeier Engineers overtook the structural engineering. On the site of the sewage treatment plant is a sludge separator, a biological clearing basin, a blower station, a repair shop, an exhaust air treatment, a dosing station and a two storey building with offices, social rooms and sanitary facilities.

New construction of "Neue Ufer" at the Phoenixlake in Dortmund

The construction of the about EUR 15 million project in Dortmund, Germany, with a gross floor area of 10,000 m² are almost finished.

The works on the construction site of the modification and extension of the main custom office in Dortmund are progressing very well.

New construction of a waste separation plant in Johannesburg, Southafrika

The waste separation plant consists of 2 steel halls which are vertically offset over 5 m. The special challange for structural engineering is to transfer high vertical loads from the plant engineering. The client is a well known German plant manufacturer.
